Purpose

Our purpose is to build the church by encouraging all people to know, adore, and follow Jesus Christ in a way that is impactful and meaningful in our current culture.  This should be growing in the life of all our members and can be accomplished by four broad directional statements:

• We will worship our Loving God in a manner that is real, tangible, and relevant.  “… they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”  John 4:24
• We will serve and show compassion in our church and our community.   “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in”  Matthew 25:35
• We will encourage one another on our faith journey through prayer and fellowship, calling on God’s Holy Spirit to lead us as we share our lives with others as Jesus did. “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up…” 1Thessalonians 5:11
• We will share God’s love and the true hope and healing of His gospel story.  “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
